Jubilant Bridge is excited to announce that we will be back in the studio this winter, working on recording two new CDs. The first one will be mostly our original songs, with a few covers such as the long-awaited “Hallelujah,” and “Send In The Clowns.” Then, we will be recording a CD of Christmas music, although it won’t be the standard holiday fare. Much of it will be early and Renaissance era music, with a few surprises.
As many others do these days, we are seeking donations to enable us to do these recordings. Below is a list of Bridge Support categories and the rewards received for each one. “Abutment”---$1000: All of the above, plus introductory dulcimer lessons from Willie, plus name listed in CD credits
“Deck”---$2500: All of the above, plus a day in studio to observe
“Pier”---$3500: All of the above, plus a dulcimer with introductory lessons from Willie
“Tower”---$5,000 or more: A Jubilant Bridge concert given at your house or at any event of your choice (plus CDs, tickets, a day in the studio, and name in credits)

Why are you asking for donations?
We’ve been wanting to do these two recordings for years, but haven’t had the resources to do so. It has become increasingly expensive to record a high-quality CD at a quality studio. Just finalizing the CD (mixing/mastering, artwork and graphics, manufacturing) is expensive in itself. These donations will enable us to realize our dream.
What will the donations be used for?
The donations will be used for two studio projects that will include studio time, an engineer/producer, mixing and mastering, cover design/artwork/graphics, and CD manufacturing. The money will not be used to pay our rent or personal bills, to travel to Mexico or anywhere else, or to purchase cheap health insurance. It will all go into a separate account that will only be used to pay for the recording projects.
