New CD “Power Lines” Getting Online Airplay

In addition to airplay on public radio stations in the U.S., The Netherlands, Germany, and Israel, our new CD, “Power Lines,” is also being played on several Internet radio sites:

Carol Wins Songwriting Awards

Carol recently won Silver for her song, “Power Lines,” in the 2010 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, one of the longest-running national songwriting contests, which received submissions from all over the world.  She was invited to perform the song (and Willie played on it, too) at the Gala awards ceremony in Vienna, Virginia, on January 23.  It was fun to hear a lot of the winning songs in the various categories and meet the other performers.  At the end of the evening, she was surprised with another award---the BMI Songwriter Award, which was presented by a Vice President from BMI.  Carol’s mom and sister were also in attendance, which made it even more special!

And More Recognition for Jubilant Bridge

We have been named Finalists for Best Group/Duo for two songs from the new CD, “Power Lines” and “Waiting for Rain,” in the 7th Annual International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA).
